And Americans are stupid cows for not seeing it. The Republicans are dicking around while the Obama administration is actually making an effort. I don't agree with the man on quite a few things, but credit where it's due: at least he's doing something.
Sometimes I think that the stupid conservatives deserve what the GOP does to them. It's either that, or they're brainwashed victims. Which one is less insulting?

and stupid is as stupid does. There may be other problems as well, like evil.
I never really believed in evil. Then Reagan started using the word to describe the Soviet Union, and then Shrub used it to describe almost everything he didn't like. I started to think, How do Republicans know so much about evil?
Of course, i cannot read the human heart; but there is a saying; By their fruits ye shall know them.
Reminds of the Heinlein quote, "Never attribute to malice that which can be easily explained by stupidity," or something to that effect. Never bought the good/evil dichotomy, not even as a child; too simplistic, never stood up to reason / evidence.
I was in a pissy mood when I wrote this one. I'm still confused, and I'd still like to know whether they'd prefer to be called stupid or brainwashed, which would insult them more. I just don't get why people consistently work against their own needs and interests.
