Poetry Link Round-Up / Prelimary

From earlier today, Tony Brown's 'Ninety Minutes In,' over at his blog

Also from earlier today, 'Building Kanye West' by John Paul Davis, over at New Verse News; this is an interesting blog, which you should follow. Basic premise: "presents politically progressive poetry on current events and topical issues."

I'm excited to announce that The Dredge Cycle has relaunched with a spiffy new design; check out Adam's latest post on the responsibilities inherent in borrowing from / identifying with the spiritual modes of indigenous cultures, within a culture steeped in imperialism.

Moving on from poetry-related things, I'm working on what will likely be two-to-three posts concerned with the "Jasmine Revolution." Areas of emphasis include directly relevant modern history of Egypt, the current situation on the ground there, and the diffusion from Tunisia / through Egypt to, well, at least a dozen places to some extent or another. Now is your  chance to ask questions, put forth concerns, etc.; chime in, influence the course of the post(s).

And have a wonderful day.
